Built in 1895, the original Arcadia Court was a six-room hotel with no indoor plumbing - thank goodness things have changed! In the early 50's, construction on what is now the 8-unit Arcadia Court Hotel began. There have been very few structural changes since then, so that mid-century rustic charm remains intact. For over a hundred years, Arcadia Court has been a relaxing, friendly, fun destination for travellers. Our hope is that the next hundred-plus years are as fun and relaxing for Arcadia's visitors - we'll do what we can to make that so! |

About Your HostsCarl comes from a background in technology - microwave engineering to be precise (and you have to be in that field!), and Christie has spent over 20 years in the book business. In looking for a change of pace, we discovered and fell in love with Long Beach and the Arcadia. We are fortunate to be caretakers to one of Long Beach's friendliest and longest-running independent hotels, and look forward to many years of making our guests happy.
